and my pocketbook went OUCH!!!!!

Today I went back to my LNS after 4 months. I hadn't been stitching so much after my Mom died and when I started stitching again, I had so much to choose from already that I just worked from my own stash. So while I have been hearing from stitching friends that the ladies that run the shop has been asking about me, I haven't really been motivated to go shopping. However, that all changed when I signed up for the Fall Exchange in my Yahoo group, Every Stitch Counts (ESC).

While perusing the store for the gifts for my partner (their name will remain unknown to protect the innocent until the exchange is delivered); I found several gorgeous items which begged to come home with me. I bought Puritan Sampler and Town & Country Sampler by Brenda Keyes and Nature's Alphabet by Elizabeth's Designs. Will post a picture of my exchange partner's booty after she receives it. Here is pictures of the patterns I pulled from websites such as the Silver Needle to show you my future stitching endeavors.

Update: Chris (Cowgirl from Hanna) was my fall exchange partner for ESC. I was very glad to hear she enjoyed all her presents although I couldn't fit Grissom in a package to send by the USPS. Sorry Chris! Here is a picture she had taken of her package.
