My Stitching MOJO is back!

After completing the teacher's pieces, I couldn't wait to stitch on something fun! I actually did a little stitching on my BRD piece and will try and keep up a steady pace on this but I can't stitch on Christmasy pieces in summer! :) I will try and do a block or two at a time and make some progress to share on this every week. I am working on the blocks some more since I have been doing some mindless stitching on this and plan on filling in the blocks later.
I really made some progress on my Kind Fond Love Sampler by Brenda Keys. I picked this up probably a year or two ago at the Salty Yarns in Ocean City while down there with my Mom. I have loved this piece for so long and decided to pick it up and enjoy it since it is a lot of small motifs that make up the rather large finish.
I have decided to concentrate on these two pieces for the time being until my stitching ADHD kicks in. Will hopefully have some cool updates to share in the next few weeks on each of these pieces. My goal is to start updating regularly - not everyday - but every few days to show how these two pieces are going. I might also work on a few other items that are in my bag and when I make progress or finishes out of these I will share them too. Wish me luck and keep checking back for updates! :)

I am so glad that you have your MOJO back for stitching and updating. I missed reading your blog...The finished teacher pillows are adorable. I used that L*K pattern this year, too, stitching it for the cover of the Thank You books I do for teacher appreciation (a roommom thing)for my "now" 5th grader. I also did a different one for my "now" 8th grader history/english teacher. They are a nice "keepsake" gift - or so the teachers always tell me so. Glad that the your dog story had a happy ending!
Take care! Can't wait to watch the progress of your newest WIPs :)

Carol,

Everything looks wonderful! Will be excited to see your continued progress. BTW Matthew loved the Flat Ray thing..we had read the books before so he got it and thought it was super cool that a friend of mine had picked him to do it. I finally mailed the package with goodies for both you and Ray. It should arrive sometime this week. I know it took forever but hope you both like what we chose. Hugs!
