Stitching Update

Well, here is a quick update on my stitching. I have been very good about keeping up with the LK stitching and I have managed to keep up with it month to month. Currently I am working on the May flip-it. This piece I try and work on during the UFO days for my two Yahoo groups; however, sometimes life just gets in the way. I finished April except for a small portion of the yellow at the bottom; I think it is called Buttercup, but I ran out and need to run to the LNS to pick up another skein. Hopefully this weekend!

However, the piece I have spent the most time working on is Kind Fond Love. I started noticing little things in the chart that just didn't seem to match the picture that came with the chart and didn't seem to fit the design. I wrote to the designer, Brenda Keyes, and she said no one had mentioned any problems but if I could point them out she would appreciate the comments. So, I have been slowly working through some of the areas in question and taking my time keeping a detail of what I questioned. I sit sometimes after working on this piece and picture in my mind being able to hang it somewhere in the house and what kind of frame I would want.

I'm going to try and keep updates coming every few days. I really need to get back into the swing with this poor blog; wish me luck!

You are making great progress on your stitching. Wish I could say the same. I need to do a btter job with my blog as well. Perhaps I will have more time during summer break (lol).

Look forward to your next update.

Your LK's look great. Are you doing it as a wall hanging?
