Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride! - Unknown

"Death by Darjeeling"

This was my first book of my Reading Challenge that I am participating in with some ladies from various online groups. Darjeeling tea is black tea, and the name refers to the region where it is grown in the Indian state of West Bengal during the 19th century. Laura Childs is the author of this series which is called the Tea Shop Mystery series. Very good books, fun and entertaining with very detailed characters. Of course, since I am a tea drinker, it is neat to learn of all the different types of teas which are available. Next book is "Shades of Earl Grey" and continues on with the story of Theodosia Brown on another murder mystery. If you enjoy a good cup of tea, a good mystery or both; then this is a series for you.

I have also been reading "The White Queen" by Phillipa Gregory which is one of my favorite authors. She writes historical fiction based on Tudor England and the Royals of that time period.

Well, I have completed one book of my 10 book challenge. Nine more to go!
