Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride! - Unknown

A Family Scouting Activity

We attended the Patuxent Wildlife Refuge Hunting and Fishing Day with the kids. Both were able to work on their scouting requirements for their respective activities. Both participated in Archery, Hunting, and Fishing activities and all of us had a lot of fun. Here is Becky and I making a shot (and a successful hit) on a deer target and Ray seeing how a tree stand works for hunting.

Girl scouts are already hard at work with reinvesture and cookie sales and the Cubs went on their first hike of the year. Between school, music lessons, chorus and scouts; along with life in general it will be a very busy year indeed.
